PADI Open Water Diver Course
Get your PADI open water certification while enjoying the fantastic diving sites of the wonderful red sea. The Open Water Diver Course is a 3-4 days program that helps you gain the knowledge and skills needed to become a PADI-certified diver. Upon completion, you will receive a certification from PADI and you’ll be qualified to dive to a depth of 18m with a dive buddy. For children (10 – 14 years old) who completed this course, they will be certified to dive to a depth of 12m with a guardian or a PADI Pro. Hurghada scuba diving courses courses
Maximum open water certificate depth: 18m/60ft
Minimum Age: 10 years old
Medical: each student must complete a PADI medical form specifically for scuba diving.
Our 4 day Open Water Schedule: Hurghada open water course
- The first part of the course is the Knowledge Development: all course theory could be completed online at your own pace through PADI eLearning. A Quick Review is done with an instructor before the confined water sessions.
- The second part, 5 confined water modules to learn basic skills. This is normally completed over 2 or 3 pool sessions.
- The third part – open water Dives: 4 boat dives in Discovery Passage off of our boat . Use your skills learned in the pool while exploring local dive sites! Ocean Dives are daily (all day, meet time varies, depending on tides & weather).
- First Day – our transfer will bring you to the boat and we will depart at 09:00am. upon arrival you will fill out a referral form about your health and safety. then , you will start studying the manual in your preferred language. also instructor will also prepare you for Confined Water Dives. Start your confined water dives
- Second Day – continue Confined Water(swimming pool/shallow lagoon):
- Third Day– you will finish your studies ,then a quiz, and complete 2 Open Water dives .
- Fourth Day – You will complete the final 2 Open Water dives. at the end , the instructor will also review all the skills from the course and you will complete your final written exam.
